For all those people living in Europe and are waiting for the Morrowind patch... wait no longer. You can now download the European patch which looks like it fixes teh same problems as the US patch.

A new PC review has been put up on GamingHorizon, where they give Morrowind a rating of 'A'.

Also, GameSpot have interviewed Todd Howard about making Morrowind, as well as what's in the future.

June 23, 2002     

The Official site has been updated with a new plugin. It is called the Master Index which is a quest to find the ten propylon indices. In return for completing this quest, you will receive the Master Index, allowing the you to travel to any propylon chamber, or return to the Caldera Mages Guild from any propylon chamber.

Also, they have released the 3D Studio Max exporters for both versions 3.1 and 4.0.

Finally, TechTV have written a review of Morrowind, where they give it 5 out of 5.

June 21, 2002     

There were no new previews today, but I did put up a new page with links to completed plugins. It's nothing fancy but it's better than nothing. One day I will hopefully put up one with all the bells and whistles.

Also, Morrowind has finally been released in Australia. If you havn't got a copy, head over to your nearest EB and get one!

June 19, 2002     

The Official patch for Morrowind has been released. This patch is for the US version only, however, the European version will be released soon. You can download it here.

Also, Bethesda will be releasing some new official plugins and the 3D Studio Max exporter. Stay tuned for those.

Morrowind is still being reviewed on various sites on the net. The first review on GoneGold is for the PC version and they give Morrowind 93%. The next review is for the Xbox version and can be found on Xbox.IGN.com, with a rating of 9.4 out of 10. Gamezilla also have an Xbox review. They don't give it a rating as such, but recommend it for 'Fans only'. That's all the reviews for today.

June 18, 2002     

The reviews of Morrowind just don't seem to be stopping, with the addition of two more reviews. The first is on PC-Gaming who give Morrowind 4/5 and high praise. CounterGlow have the second review who don't give a score, however, the review is very positive.

Also, GameSpy have put up an interview with Todd Howard, where he answers quite a few great questions.

Finally, a new site has been launched called Morrowind House of Thieves, which, you guessed it, provides information on playing as a thief in Morrowind. Head over and make them feel welcome!

June 16, 2002     

Over the last few days, quite a few reviews of Morrowind have been put up on the web. The first is by Desslock, who doesn't give Morrowind a score, but the praise speaks for itself. Next, NeoSeeker have a review where they give Morrowind 88%, followed by VNRoundUp with a score of 94% in their review. The last of the PC reviews can be found on EpiGamer who give Morrowind 8.5 out of 10.

There were also two Xbox reviews. The first one is on LNGaming, with a score of 5/6 and TeamXbox give Morrowind 4.5 out of 5 in their review.

Also, a new official plugin has been released on Morrowind.com. This is an updated version of the Adamantium Helm of Tohan - the Electronic Boutique plugin.

I also have news of a new plugin called The Modern Adventurer - a Vvardenfell news paper with contributions by B, GhanBuriGhan, Raptormeat and myself. This is issue 1, and we plan on releasing a new version at regular intervals. It contains humour and useful information related to playing Morrowind, so download it and let us know what you think!

There was another review of the PC version of Morrowind on UGO.com and they give it a score of B+. Also, Xbox.IGN.com have put up their first impressions of Morrowind for the Xbox. There is no score, but the review is very positive.

There have been three reviews of the Xbox version of Morrowind. The first two are on Gamers.com where two reviewers give Morrowind 7.5 and 8.5 out of 10. Gamespot also have a review who give Morrowind 8.5 out of ten, slightly less than what they gave the PC version.

Finally, Frank Myer has sent in and updated version of his legendary weapons mod, with some changes to some creatures, dialog and the weapons.

June 12, 2002     

According to this post, Bethesda are asking for people to beta test the up and coming patch for Morrowind. 500 people from the US will receive the patch to test and make sure it does what it is supposed to. Read the post for all of the information on how to sign up.

Three more reviews have popped today. The first is on Khabal.com, that gives Morrowind a very good score of 9.5/10. Next up, Bjorn3d have put up their review giving Morrowind 9/10, while Gamespot have also put up a review with a score of 9.3 out of 10. Check them all out.

There have been a few more reviews over the last couple of days. The first review is on EuroGamer who have given Morrowind a respectable 8/10. The German site ProGamerz have put up their review with Morrowind receiving 91% overall. LoneGamers have put up their review of Morrowind where they give it 9/10. The final review is on Christian Computer Game Review who, in a very sane manner, don't freak out at the magic elements and give Morrowind 83%.

Next, Gamespot give their first impressions of the Xbox version of Morrowind.

Last but not least, ShackNews have posted an interview with Todd Howard, where they talk about quite a few things including the future of the series.

Finally, there is some news on the Xbox version of Morrowind. It has been announced that it will arrive in stores on Friday June 7th. Don't just take my word for it, check out the announcement.

There have been two more reviews and an interview. The first review can be found on RollespilCentralen. If you can't tell, it's in Danish and they give Morrowind 10/10. Next, Armchair Empire have a very positive review giving Morrowind 9.4 out of 10.

Finally, Xbox Gamers have an interview with Pete Hines, the PR man for Bethesda. It's quite short, but they do talk about the Xbox delay. Check them all out.

There are two more reviews for you reading pleasure. The first review is on the Entertainment Depot, that, you guessed it, gives Morrowind high praise and 9.5 out of 10. The second review is on Monkey Review who give Morrowind 4 out of 5 bananas in their positive review.

There have been a few more reviews of Morrowind of the last few days. The first review is on GamersHell, who give Morrowind 9/10 in their positive review. Next, Four Fat Chicks have a lengthy review that also praises Morrowind highly. Finally, Video Game News have put up their review, where they give Morrowind 'thumbs up'.

Also, the Elder Scrolls web site has been updated with two new plug-ins. The first adds area effect arrows with the second adding swamp sounds and dragonflies to the Bitter Coast. Check them out.
