Vvardenfell Traveller's Guide City of Pelagiad
Upon entering the city of Pelagiad, one would hardly know that one was in the heart of Morrowind. Being one of the very few exclusively Imperial towns on Vvardenfell, rustic vistas and imperial colonial architecture abound. Located at the top of the city is the large, imposing Imperial fort offering protection for the town's residents as well as a garrison for Imperial troops.
Pelagiad is beyond the reach of most of the ash storms that plague areas closer to the volcano, and thus visitors will delight in the grassy green lushness of the town as a welcome change to drab desert environments. Natural Morrowind fauna such as large, mushroom shaped trees grow in abundence. Be careful not to step on the toe of an Imperial guard while ambling through the streets, however. The short temper of the guards is notorious in all corners of the Empire.
