Alternative Main Quest
Quests:
This section is for those who have done something ill-advised that caused the main quest to be inaccessible. It is highly suggested that you avoid this eventuality at all costs, as the main plot is far more rewarding overall.

Steps:
- Yagrum Bagarn shouldn't take offence to your killing Divayth Fyr or his daughters, but it's inadviseable to do so in any case.
- With that said, go to Vivec in his city's Palace canton. Unlock the door at the top, using whatever means are neccessary, and kill Vivec.
- Take his "Unique Dwemer Artifact" as well as two of the sheets of paper ("Vivec's Plan" & "Dagoth Ur's Plans") he has on a stand at the back of his room, and go to Tel Fyr.
- Yagrum Bagarn is in the basement of Tel Fyr, in the "Corprusarium Bowels". (Yagrum is the one that's half Dwemer spider-bot)
- Talk to Yagrum, and when he notices, ask him about your "unique dwemer artifact" and then "mythopoeic enchantments". You can either impress him with your reputation if it's 20+, or just show him the two planbooks you swiped.
- Once he agrees to help, he'll send you to locate "Kagrenac's Planbook" & "Kagrenac's Journal"
- They're both in Dwemer ruins within Ghostgate's boundaries: The planbook is in a desk in "Turenulal, Kagrenac's Library", and the journal is in "Endusal, Kagrenac's study", on the floor under some shelves in Dagoth Endus's room. If you find Sunder or Keening before you're wearing Wraithguard, DON'T equip them; they'll kill you right now.
- Take the books back to Yagrum, wait 1 day, and he'll give you a jury-rigged Wraithguard. (Read below to see what that means)
- The 1st time you wear this jury-rigged Wraithguard, it will hit you for anywhere from 200 to 225 pts of damage. It's highly reccomended that you use lots of 'Fortify Health' effects (potions, scrolls, spells & enchantments).
- After that 1st time, though, you'll be fine; it will behave as if Vivec had made it for you. From this point on, follow the last quest from the Ashlanders' quests.
