Quest giver: Athyn Serathi
Location: Ald'Ruhn, in the giant crabshell, Sarethi Manor
Athyn Serathi's Quests:

| Rescue Athyn's son, Varvur | Type: Escort quest |

Steps:
- Athyn asks you to rescue his son, Varvur Sarethi, from Venim Manor.
- Enter Venim Manor, and go to its Right Wing.
- You'll find a key and a note on a bench; take the key when the guard's back is turned, or just pick the lock in the next step.
- Note that corridor that ends at a tapestry? The one that's flanked by two candle holders? Walk through the tapestry and unlock the door behind it.
- Talk to Varvur, and lead him back to his father. Expect at least four guards (two in the Right Wing, and two in the Manor Entrance) to attack; you must keep Varvur from dying if you expect to complete the main plotline.
- Report back to Athyn
- Step outside of Sarethi Manor and back in, to allow the next quest to start.

Steps:
- Athyn will ask you to clear Varvur's name of the crime of murdering Bralen Carvaren, and suggest you start by talking to Varvur about.
- Talk to Varvur about "Bralen Carvaren", "bad dreams", and "ash statue". Get the nearby ash statue and talk to him about it again.
- Locate Lloros Sarano in the Ald'Ruhn Temple, and speak to him of "ash statue", and "Bralen Carvaren"
- Go back and talk to Varvur (he'll automatically agree to talk to LLoros)
- Report back to Athyn and ask him about "Bralen Carvaren".
- Speak to Lloros about "Bralen Carvaren" once again to finish this saga off.
NOTE: If you don't talk to Athyn about "Bralen Carvaren" before you talk to Lloros about it next, you won't get credit for this quest.

| Make a Hlaalu retract his slander | Type: Combat quest |

Steps:
- Athyn will ask you to go to Balmora and force Ondres Nerano to retract his slander.
- Go there and agree to a duel. Your goal here is to knock him out or to wound him to less than 50hp (he starts with 159 hp), but you can kill him in this duel with no repercussions.
- If you didn't kill him, speak to Ondres about "slander" again.
- Report back to Athyn.
NOTE: It's not a good idea to 'claim' Nerano Manor before you resolve this quest and talk to Athyn.

- Athyn will ask you to clear out Shurinbaal.
- Go there, and make sure to kill the leaders Daroder Helni and Enjine.
- Report back to Athyn.

| Neutralize a rogue Redoran noble | Type: Combat quest |

Steps:
- Athyn will ask you to go to Milk and somehow stop "Arethan Mandas" and his retinue from victimising travelers. He suggests you talk to Llerar Mandas in Ebonheart (in the Grand Council Chambers).
- Talk to Llerar (he's wearing all Dwemer armor except his helm), and ask him about "Arethan Mandas". He'll tell you to free Arethan's daughter, Delyna Mandas, from Tel Fyr.
- Once inside Tel Fyr, go right, through the door, and then levitate or jump up the tunnel shaft where the paths cross.
- Talk to Divayth Fyr about "Delyna Mandas" to obtain permission to free her, then go back to Tel Fyr's entrance and keep going. She's behind the next golden door on your left, but it's locked at 60.
- Talk to Delyna and lead her outside; she'll give you her locket. Take it to Arethan in Milk.
- In Milk, kill pretty much whomever you please but keep an eye out for a Dunmer in ebony armor; that's Arethan, and he shouldn't attack. Give him the locket.
- Go back to Ebonheart and talk to Llerar about Delyna.
- Report back to Athyn.

Steps:
- Athyn will tell you to convince Brara Morvayn to support you as a House Father.
- Talk to Brara Morvayn in her chambers in the Redoran Council Hall. She'll give you a key and tell you to clear her manor out and deliver the ash statue within to Lloros Sarano at the Temple.
- Go to her manor (east of the crab shell, and north of the Temple), clear the place out (careful, they're all corprus beasts), and collect the ash statue from a back room.
- Deliver the ash statue to Lloros at the Temple.
- Report back to Brara Morvayn.

- Athyn will tell you to convince Hlaren Ramoran to support you as a House Father.
- Talk to Hlaren Ramoran in Ramoran Manor. He'll tell you to collect the "taxes from Gnisis" and send you to speak with Hetman Abelmawia.
- Go to Gnisis, speak to the Hetman, collect the taxes, and return them (all of them; he'll know) to Hlaren.

Steps:
- Hlaren will ask you to locate an old lover of his named "Nalvilie Saren" and sends you to talk to the Saren family in Vivec's Redoran canton's Plaza area.
- You have a choice here:
- You can trek all the way to Vivec and hunt Nalvilie Saren down (she's in the St. Olms Canalside #1 apartment).
Once you get her response, he seems to think she's dead (bug). The alternate way, however, is that
- You can use the 'secret' way of solving this... talk to Nalvyna Sarinith (in a skirt, next to him) and ask her about Nalvilie.
Given her answer, you can tell she has a thing for Hlaren; tell him about Nalvyna.
- Either way, Hlaren will be satisfied.

Steps:
- Athyn will tell you to convince Miner Arobar to support you as a Councilman.
- Miner will refuse to even consider your request; return to Athyn and ask him about Miner.
- Armed with your new information, travel to Sadrith Mora and ask people about "Miner Arobar"; eventually, someone will let slip that master Neloth appears to have control over him.
- Go scouting around inside Tel Naga (the mushroom tower in the middle of Sadrith Mora) until you locate the Tel Naga Great Hall; Nartise Arobar is behind some bars there.
- As always, when you tell her to follow you the guards attack. Dispose of them and lead her to the boatman at the Sadrith Mora docks.
- Report back to Miner.

Steps:
- Athyn will tell you to convince Garisa Llethri to support you as a Councilman.
- Garisa will ask you to discover proof that the Hlaalu at the Caldera ebony mines are corrupt.
- In Caldera's Governor Hall, locate Odral Helvi; he has a chest in his bedroom with the 'real' ledger.
- Return the 'real' ledger to Garisa.
NOTE: Do NOT free the slave Dahleena yet or you'll need to kill some people for the next part.

Steps:
- Garisa will ask you to "halt the mining" at the Caldera ebony mines.
- You have a couple ways of doing this:
- Free (or kill) the slave Dahleena in Slave Shack Two in the mining camp (the key's at the top of the nearby guard tower), or
- Kill both Odral Helvi and Stlennius Vibato (it's suggested that you get them to attack you).
- Report back to Garisa.

Steps:
- Athyn tells you that if you wish to become Redoran's Archmaster, you must defeat Bolvyn in a duel.
- Go to Bolvyn Venim in Venim manor and challenge him to a duel.
- Go to Vivec's Arena, entering from the Waistworks (not from outside), and defeat Bolvyn in a duel to the death.
- Report back to Athyn.
