Great House Redoran - Stronghold Guide
Here's what you'll need to accomplish to build your stronghold:
NOTE: Don't wait for progress at Bal Isra.. you'll just get things stuck until the day after you leave.
| First Stage of the Redoran Stronghold |

Steps:
- Talk to Galsa Gindu in her rooms off of Ald'Ruhn's Grand Council Hall.
- Galsa will tell you you need:
- 5,000 gold, and
- A construction permit from Duke Vedam Dren in Ebonheart.
- 5-6 days later, you should get a Journal note saying you should check on your stronghold.
- Talk to Galsa Gindu about your stronghold and get sent to Bal Isra (don't go there until after Galsa sends you there; the foreman won't say anything useful)
- The foreman, Bugdul gro-Kharbush, gives you a message to pass back to Galsa
- Talk to Galsa about your stronghold again, and another 5-6 days later your stronghold's 1st stage should be done.

Steps:
- Talk to Galsa Gindu.
- Galsa will tell you you need to "hire some guards" from the local Fighters' Guild.
- Percius Mercius will agree, on the condition that you free a friend of his, Frelene Acques, from the Hlaalu prison in Vivec.
- The easiest way to do this is to go to the Hlaalu prison in the Vivec Hlaalu canton, hide behind a post and steal a prison key (there are two keys out in the open; one's at the far end of the room from the guard), and give it to Frelene.
- Return to Percius and he'll agree to send guards to your place.
- Talk to Galsa about your stronghold again, and another 5-6 days later your stronghold's 2nd stage should be done.

| Third and Final Stage of the Redoran Stronghold |

Steps:
- Talk to Galsa Gindu.
- Galsa will tell you you need to attract more settlers, and that Hetman Guls at your stronghold will know what needs to be done.
- Herman Guls will tell you his men "need wives".
- You have a choice (as always):
- You can 'Persuade' Fathusa Girethi (Ald Skar Inn) and Aryni Orethi (wandering around the center of Ald'Ruhn) to 90% and they'll agree,
- You can talk to Savile Imayn in Tel Aruhn and she'll arrange to send two slaves to Bal Isra,
- If you know the Twin Lamps passcode, Galyn Arvel will send some freedom-seeking slaves to Bal Isra, or
- You can talk to Helviane Desele (she needs to like you at least 70%) and she'll agree to ask her girls if any are interested in the idea (two will be).
- Either way, go back to Hetman Guls and he'll send you back to Galsa.
- Talk to Galsa about your stronghold again, and another 5-6 days later your stronghold's final stage should be done.
NOTE: Interestingly, options b-d all enable the same two women... so you don't gain anything by doing more than two of the above (only one of the above options is required of course, but you can do two if you want. Do 'a' second though.)
