| Convince Baladas Demnevanni to join the Council | Type: Speechcraft quest |

Steps:
- Aryon asks you to convince Baladas Demnevanni, in Gnisis, Ars-Relen, to "join the Council".
- Go speak to Baladas and he'll agree as long as you do some tasks for him. Fulfill HT_FireAndFaith, HT_ChroniclesNchuleft, & HT_DwemerLaw
- After getting him his books, Baladas will agree.
- Report back to Aryon

| Cure the kwama queen of Aryon's egg mine | Type: Healing quest |

Steps:
- Aryon will ask you to cure the kwama queen of the Mudan-Mul Egg Mine, and will offer to teach you "Aryon's Blight Cure" spell.
- Go there and cure the queen.
- Report back to Aryon.
NOTE: There seems to be some backup plan in case you kill the kwama queen, but it doesn't appear fully implemented. Don't kill her.

Steps:
- Aryon will tell you to learn what he calls 'rudimentary' spells.
- The spells which qualify are as follows:
- Levitate spells: Levitate, Wild Levitate, & Great Levitate
- Fire spells: Fire Storm, Fireball, & Greater Fireball
- Recall
- Even if you have every one of these spells, he won't acknowlege such until you greet him next (it's just the way he's rigged up).
- Report back to Aryon.

| Protect a Telvanni stronghold from Hlaalu raiders | Type: Combat quest |

Steps:
- Aryon will ask you to go to Odirniran and help any Telvanni you find.
- Go there, and make sure to kill Remasa Othril. (and don't kill Vedelea Othril just yet)
- Speak with Milyn Faram and keep listening to him. Once he's done, feel free to kill Vedelea Othril (it's a better fate than what Milyn has in store for her)
- Report back to Aryon.

| End the Mages Guild's monopoly on training | Type: Speechcraft quest |

Steps:
- Aryon will ask you to convince at least three Redoran Councilors to agree that the Mages' Guild monopoly on training and spells should be ended. He suggests you start with Athyn Sarethi.
- Go to Ald'Ruhn, enter the large crabshell at the north end of town, and use the catwalks to get to Sarethi Manor.
- Speak with Athyn (he's the one by the front door, in the reddish robes); if you 'Persuade' him to at least 50% he'll agree, and tell you to "appeal to fairness" with the other Redoran Councilors.
- The remainder of the Redoran Councilors except for Bolvyn Venim (ie: Garisa Llethri, Miner Arobar, Hlaren Ramora, & Brara Morvayn) will agree if they like you at least 40% and you "appeal to fairness".
- Report back to Aryon.

| Protect a Telvanni stronghold from Redoran raiders | Type: Combat quest |

Steps:
- Aryon will ask you to go to Shishi and protect the Telvanni Faves Andes from Redoran forces.
- Go there, slaughter any Redoran who gets in your way; be sure to kill Brerama Selas.
- Per Aryon's instructions, look for a skull on a desk and 'use' it. Go to the room below and look for anything new; then talk with Faves.
- Report back to Aryon.

Steps:
- Aryon will tell you to locate and recruit a Mouth to represent you in the Telvanni Council. He'll suggest seeking one in Balmora.
- Ask around; some of the Sadrith Mora Mouths will have heard of someone. He calls himself "Fast Eddie" and his upstairs apartment is the northern-most one on the west edge of the river.
- Tell Fast Eddie you want him to be your Mouth, and give him the Silver Staff of Peace you've been patiently hoarding since HT_BaladasAlly.
- Report back to Aryon.
NOTE: Once you've reported back to Aryon, Eddie will be at the Telvanni Council House in Sadrith Mora. You can go there and ask him to fetch you two very nice items.

Steps:
- Aryon will ask you to go to the Odai Plateau and kill Raynasa Rethan.
- Go there, kill Raynasa (who will attack you), and feel free to dispose of her retinue as long as you get them to attack you.
- Report back to Aryon.
NOTE: If you pick up anything lying around, be careful it's considered 'stealing' (as bizarre as that may be).

Steps:
- Aryon will ask you to go to Bal Isra and kill Banden Indarys.
- As before, go there, kill Banden, and reduce his crew to bloody messes in the usual fashion.
- Report back to Aryon.
NOTE: As before, taking things that're lying out in the open is 'stealing'.

Steps:
- Aryon will tell you that you must decide:
- You may become a Master, and never advance any further in the Telvanni ranks, or
- You may become a Magister, which means that you may (and must) challenge ArchMagister Gothren for his position.
- If you've decided to become a Magister, go and challenge Gothren.
- Either way, it's time to rest on your Telvanni laurels.
NOTE: The unpatched game allowed you "Advancement" to Master and didn't make the irrevokable nature of the above choice very plain. Patching the game allows you to change your mind once you qualify for this quest.
