The Thieves Guild is a confederation of like-minded individuals who believe in the acquisition and distribution of others valuables. As they are the Empire's equivalent of Morrowind's native thieves guild (the Camonna Tong), and as they are relative newcomers, they are currently fighting for their very existence. As the curtain goes up, they are in serious danger of being snuffed out by a secret alliance the Camonna Tong has made with the head of another Imperial guild.

To join: Speak with Sugar-Lips Habasi (Balmora), Big Helende (Sadrith Mora), Gentleman Jim Stacey (Vivec), or Aengoth the Jeweler (Ald'Ruhn).
NOTE: Some have reported that you cannot join the Thieves' Guild if you've done too many of the Fighters' Guild's quests from either Balmora or Vivec (details are scarce, and I see nothing of the sort in the editor)
If you get expelled, you can 'make amends' with any Mastermind (the ones who give you jobs).
The 1st time, it costs you 1,000 gold, the 2nd is 5,000, the 3rd through 6th is 10,000 and you cannot make amends after the 6th time.
